YSCC Players of the Week - Fall Week 1

Here are the Yankee Small College Conference Players of the Week for week one of the fall season.

Men's Soccer - Nathan Wiley (Paul Smith's)

The junior midfielder from Wareham, MA bagged four goals in five games and added an assist as the Bobcats started the year off 2-3-0.

Women's Soccer - Adrienne Dorr (NHTI)

The 2nd-Team All-American started the year strong, as the senior out of Pembroke Academy tallied a hat trick in the Lynx's season-opening win over UMaine-Augusta.

Golf - Will Farschon (SMCC)

The freshman from Brunswick, ME was impressive taking first place overall at the John Queenan Memorial Tournament hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine in a field loaded with NCAA golfers.

Volleyball - Emma Bernard (NHTI)

The sophomore outside hitter led her team offensively with 30 kills in week one, guiding the Lynx to a 3-0 victory over Northern Essex CC with a .353 hitting percentage. The Chester, NH native also added 14 kills in a narrow defeat at Central Maine.

Men's Cross Country - Eliot Soderholm (Paul Smith's)

The junior runner finished 12th in the 8K at the Siloway Vermont Maple Syrup Challenge, improving on his time from last year by more than two minutes.

Women's Cross Country - Joanna Kerchner (Paul Smith's)

The junior ran the 5K at the Siloway Vermont Maple Syrup Challenge in 24:39 to start off the year.

Baseball - Maddux Mackenzie (NHTI)

The sophomore from Nova Scotia had a red-hot bat to help the Lynx sweep Quinsigamond CC, including hitting two doubles in the same inning.
