Maine-Machias Devone named USCAA POW

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - University of Machias first-year goalkeeper Robert Devone was named national goalie of the week by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. 

Devone (Corona, Calif.) allowed just two goals and recorded nine saves in a 1-1 week for the Clippers. Devone recorded nine saves in a 7-1 victory over conference opponent CMCC and notched two more in a 2-0 loss to Berkeley College (N.Y.). For the season, he ranks fifth in the YSCC in saves and fourth in save percentage (.759) and has posted a pair of shut outs in ten games this season.
