Nashua CC wins NECA Title

Nashua Community College wins NECA Championship.

Unity, Maine- On Sunday February 19th, Nashua Community College competed against four other teams in the NECA Basketball Championships and defeated Unity College 31-22 to win the championship.  The tournament was played in a double elimination format and the Jaguars were undefeated on the day. 

The tournament MVP was Maurice Antongeoge of Nashua Community College and his Teammate Joshua Walker was named the Offenseive Player of the Tournament.  Login Morin, Unity College, was named the defensive player of the tournament.

Other teams competing in the tournament included Northern Maine Community College, Central Maine Community College and NHTI. 

NECA (New England Collegiate Association) is a division of the YSCC (Yankee Small College Conference) for the development of new teams and sports within the YSCC.
