Men’s Cross Country

James Stockwell – NHTI

 

Senior NHTI men’s cross country runner James Stockwell (New London, NH) was the overall winner of the Daniel Webster College Eagle Invitational. Stockwell finished with a time if 31:25 and helped the Lynx to place first overall in the race

 

Golf

Austin Fox – NHTI

 

Austin Fox (Goffstown, NH) is a freshman golfer from NHTI. In a meet this past weekend Fox was the overall winner with a score of 874. The helped the Lynx to win the three team meet. Austin and the Lynx are 9-2 on the season.

 

Women’s Soccer

Cady Gagnon – SMCC

 

Cady Gagnon (Biddeford, ME) has played every minute in all three SMCC women’s soccer games.  She led SMCC to two conference wins this week over Central Maine CC and NHTI.  She scored two goals against CMCC on Wednesday (9/14) and two goals and two assists on Saturday (9/17) against NHTI.  “Cady’s done a great job of controlling the midfield to keep the team organized” praised head coach Adam Perron.

 

Men’s Soccer

Stefan Zaluckey – UMM

 

Stefan recorded six goals this week including two hat tricks over conference opponents CMCC and Unity College.  He helped carry the Clippers to a 3-0 week and a 3-0 record in the Yankee Conference

 

Baseball

Tom Melnik – NHTI

 

Tom Melnik (Wolfeboro, NH) is a freshman outfielder and pitcher from NHTI. Tom has been one of the Lynx leaders offensively and from the pitching mound this season. In a game versus rival SMCC this past week Melnik allowed only two earned runs while striking out 10. He also had several multi-hit games.

 

Softball

Ashley Studer – UNH Club

 

Ashley went 5 for 6 with a triple, 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored in wins over SMCC and NHTI on Saturday September 17th.

Volleyball

Melanie Margeson – NHTI

 

Freshman NHTI women’s volleyball player Mel Margeson (Goffstown, NH) had a superior tournament this last weekend. She had 57 digs with two aces and a nearly perfect serve reception while playing in the CCRI tournament. Margeson had emerged as a leader of the Lynx volleyball team.

 

Heather Leonard - UMM

 

Heather played a key role in a pair of weekend wins over Unity College and the Univ. of Maine at Presque Isle.  She had a .414pct. av. With 14 kills in 29 attacks, 4 service aces, 7 digs, and 2 blocks in a 5 game win over Unity.  Heather was a big factor in the win over UMPI with 3kills out of 4 attacks, .750pct., 1 service ace, 5digs and 2 blocks.
